How to fuse glass
The process
The very first step of our creation process is selecting glass. All our glass items are made of carefully selected, compatible glass. The other important issue is color. We only buy colors that fit our style and designs. It is a bit like hunting, when you are happy with your newly found treasures at the end of the hunt. Sometimes it is even hard to fall asleep after a day of shopping for supplies since thoughts are filled with shapes and colors.
The next step is designing. Our glass products are mainly inspired by the modern movement of the mid-20th century with some retro vintage style additions. Sometimes designs just pop out of my head while I am doing some everyday things, like driving or housework. The other method is to sit down and look at the glass sheets, combine colors, think about proportions and draw some sketches.
This is followed by production. This is the only part that can be taught and learned. It is very simple. Black and white. The glass is cleaned, cut and glued, according to the prepared sketches.
The final step here is placing and melting the glass in the kiln. A miracle is born. The kiln is a hot box that turns the glass pieces into art! The only secret is the length of time and the temperature.
But we are not finished at all. After cleaning and preparing, we glue them to different kind of findings with industrial strength epoxy.
At this point we photograph and upload items to our online shop.
Still not done yet! Last but not least, we pay attention to display and safe packaging. All our items are sold either on jewelry cards or packaged in handmade paper boxes.

Glass care
Our glass items can be cleaned with mild detergent or soapy water. To add extra shine, wipe them with a cosmetic pad soaked in vinegar.
